Shudh Jasuja, founder of the “Kundan & Santosh Jasuja Foundation,” honors his parents by supporting various charitable programs in the US and India. For over a decade, the foundation has provided fresh Indian vegetarian meals to the homeless at the Trinity Church in Patchogue, New York. Additionally, they contribute food and funds to the Interfaith Nutrition Network, aiding around 500 people in need daily on Long Island, New York.

In 1996, Shudh initiated the first scholarship for underprivileged students at the Government Senior Secondary School in his hometown, Abohar, Punjab. Continuing this commitment, the foundation established scholarship programs at Guru Tegh Bahadur School near Amritsar, enabling numerous disadvantaged students to complete their education.

The foundation also contributed to building a 36-room free lodging facility (“Dharamshala”) in the Hoshiarpur district in 2003. In 2006, the KSJ Foundation launched the “Mata Santosh Free Medical Dispensary,” treating over 10,000 patients in Abohar. Further, they funded a significant electric generator and drinking water storage tanks at the Senior Secondary School in Abohar in 2008.

In 2010, schools in the rural area of Nandachaur, Punjab, received financial aid from the foundation to support students’ education. They also donated seed money for Women Cancer screenings in Patiala, India, in January 2011, and have supported the Advance Cancer Research Foundation in New York for years.

The foundation’s contributions extend to empowering women through the “Santosh Mahila Silai Kender” (Women’s Tailoring Training Center) in Abohar, run by the national organization “Sewa Bharti.” Additionally, they sponsored the construction of the Thara Sahib temple in a remote village in Hoshiarpur, India, in 2019.

In 2023, the Foundation pledged funds for the construction of Samadh Sahib in memory of esteemed Gurus in the village of Lambra, India. Shudh Jasuja has been honored by The Indian Panorama and other organizations for his remarkable philanthropic contributions.
