Shudh Parkash Singh

From a small town in Abohar, Punjab to building a diversified corporate group across America — the story of Shudh Parkash Singh

EARLY YEARS

Roots in Abohar

Shudh Parkash Singh was born and raised in the small town of Abohar, Punjab. Known from an early age for his outgoing personality and natural leadership, he was popularly elected President of the Students Council at what is now Chandigarh College of Engineering. Although his academic path did not always follow conventional expectations, he remained confident in his abilities and determined to build a successful future — an early reflection of the ambition and resilience that would later define his entrepreneurial journey.

THE MOVE TO AMERICA

Pursuing the American Dream

As a young man, Shudh Parkash Singh left his hometown in Punjab and came to the United States in pursuit of greater opportunity. Leaving his family behind marked a significant turning point in his life and the beginning of a new chapter shaped by ambition, perseverance, and an entrepreneurial spirit. His move to America would ultimately lay the foundation for the businesses and investments he would go on to build.

BUILDING JGROUP

The Entrepreneurial Foundation of JGroup

Shudh Parkash Singh’s early years in business were defined by persistence, an exceptional work ethic, and a willingness to pursue opportunities across multiple industries. What began with small ventures gradually expanded into the development of numerous businesses and investments across real estate, hospitality, retail, and other commercial sectors. Today, as CEO of JGroup, he continues to guide the company’s growth across the United States and India while building upon the entrepreneurial foundation that shaped its beginnings.

NAVIKA CAPITAL GROUP

National Hospitality

He is also an Executive Partner of Navika Capital Group, which owns and operates hotels with all major brands like Marriott and Hilton across America.

PUBLIC LEADERSHIP

Serving the Community

Shudh was the first and only Indian American ever accorded an hour-long summit meeting with the Honorable Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, and National Security Advisor of India together in New York. In 2004, he created the "Chalo Punjab" slogan, motivating NRIs to campaign in Punjab — the first time in history a plane load of NRIs went to India to campaign.

THE KSJ FOUNDATION

Giving Back

He founded the Kundan & Santosh Jasuja Foundation, named after his respected parents and entirely self-funded. The Foundation serves fresh meals to the homeless in New York, funds scholarships for underprivileged students in India, and inaugurated the Mata Santosh Free Medical Dispensary in Abohar, which has treated more than 10,000 patients. The Foundation does not accept funds from anyone.
